1st Half:
We played really good defense, but gave up too many offensive rebounds.
We had 9 TO's vs. virtually no pressure
We really ran our offense well and got into positions. Very little confusion.
3rd Quarter:
Held them scoreless, 15-0. That is great!
We were very patient when they showed zone and really passed the ball around well and took open, smart shots for the most part
4th Quarter:
When we are up like we were, we want to run the clock and make the other team play defense. We will take wide open shots, not early ones, and will definitely take lay-up opportunities, especially off the flex cut or post into our big. We were tentative, and let their pressure make us make bad decisions.
We had 9 TO's in the 2nd half, most in the 4th quarter. Not a good time to do that.
Watch this game again. We did some really nice things in the offense and our D was solid. Watch the 4th quarter and see how we can finish the games more confidently with more poise.
